Joseph Tolbert Jr is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He is the oldest of 10 children and graduated from Murray Wright High School.
Joseph served his country for three (3) years in active duty and four (4) years in ready reserves for
the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Sigonella, Sicily. After receiving an Honorable
Discharge, Joseph embarked on his destiny by becoming the Founder of the Harvest Group Institute. (HGI).
Joseph is a Minster, a National Renown Motivational Speaker, Mentor and Trainer.With his gift for
identifying the gifts, skills and talents in others, he specializes in helping individuals “become the best
that they can be.”
Joseph is the Founder and President of Harvest Group Institute, which offers seminars and workshop
trainings to individuals and organizations. He Mentors and Coaches in areas such as, Correlations
Between Relationship Skills And Success, Increasing Self Confidence And Self Worth, College
Preparation and the Accompanying Lifestyle Change, Finance, Business and Budgeting, Overcoming
Personal and Professional Insecurities, to name a few.
Joseph has personally spent the last 8 years developing community programs to house and educate
individuals and families; offering intense training for men and woman in need across the state of
Florida. He provides services as a Personal Life Coach and Corporate Consultant to individuals in
small business in the area of relationship marketing. With a heart for the people and giving back to
others and communities, a portion of Joseph’s company is “not for profit” He has committed to
mentoring youth and young adults in the art of successful living, teaching them the life skills necessary
to reach their full potential.
Joseph’s ability to overcome a childhood that would have led most people to a life of definite
mediocrity allowed him to become an outstanding individual, not only personally but professionally as
well.
In addition to operating several successful businesses, Joseph is a Guardian Ad Litem (G.A.L) as serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (C.A.S.A.) for children in Foster Care in the Dependency Court System. He serves for the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court in Jacksonville, FL., and has earned a Foster Care Certification (MAPP), through the Florida Mentor Group.
